Our Spring series of four concerts – and an extra, Celebration concert!

We are thrilled to present our Spring 2024 series of concerts – designed to provide cheer and comfort for the darkest months of the year. As usual there are four in all, three one hour recitals at 11.30am and a ‘Special’ full length concert at 3pm. All are on Sundays, all take place in Rook Lane Chapel and we invite you to join us for a complimentary coffee before each one (or tea before the afternoon event.)

As usual a subscription to all four brings you a real reduction in the price of the tickets. Booking opens for subscriptions on Friday 8 December.

It’s our 20th anniversary so there will also be an extra, Celebration Concert at 3pm on March 17. This is going to be very special indeed. Four musicians who have worked together in the world’s most distinguished chamber music ensembles and orchestras have formed a string quartet to share their love of music and music making. Make sure you book early for the Creswick Quartet.

Tickets for the Creswick Quartet are £25, but if you buy one at the same time as asubscription to the Spring Series, there is a special price of £20. This ‘ Subscription Plus’ will also be available on Friday 8 December.

As usual we delay opening booking for individual concerts to give you, our loyal subscribers, a chance to book first. Single tickets will be on sale on Friday 15 December. After that date, if one of the single concerts sells out, subscriptions will no longer be available.

Your subscription will bring you a young, almost home grown, brass trio, followed by a dramatic pocket opera.

We usually try to avoid similar ensembles in adjacent series, but the Meraki Duo’s programme is so beautiful and so different from the Autumn 2023 flute and guitar recital that we couldn’t resist.

The special full length concert by a prize winning string trio is intriguing, including arrangements of works from the 1980s as well as an insight into Bach’s sublime Goldberg variations. Trio Klein perform extensively in the UK and internationally, and Bach to the 80s has been very enthusiastically received.

All this and the Celebration concert too!
